Music and arts school - admissions

The school offers musical and cultural services. The service offering is organised in association with the school system and cultural organisations.

Students in primary through upper secondary school.

When applying for admission, you are entitled to a written decision from the municipality. Even if you are not entitled to the service, the municipality must provide objective justification for its decision on the allocation of spaces in the programme.

Norsk kulturskoleråd

Every municipality, whether alone or in cooperation with other municipalities, must have a music and arts school programme for children and youth. See Section 13-6 Provision of courses in music and other cultural activities of the Education Act.
